For starters: I like it when a guest calls and asks for toilet paper. They usually act annoyed, like it's so undignified and it's our fault they need more. "Yeah, housekeeping didn't give us enough toilet tissue today. We need some more."
Nice, toilet tissue, that's totally what it's called.
Another thing I like: Blogging at work. I'm at work, right now, as I type this. Yes, I tiny part of me is slightly paranoid about getting caught. But I live for the thrill! I read a hilarious blog post tonight, and when my coworkers were nearby I had to stop laughing and act bored. 10 points to Maggie for having a cool blog name. Actually, Rod Stewart deserves the credit. 10 points taken from Maggie and given to Mr. Stewart.
I read lots of random blogs (like complete strangers living in Norway writing personal posts to their close friends (maybe I'm getting like a voyeuristic pleasure)), and they always say things like "nobody even reads this, but....." and I laugh cause I'm reading it. And anyone who ever reads it will be, ya know, reading it.
But that is SO off the subject of this post. I'm talking about things I like about work. And I think I've covered pretty much all of it. I applied for a job at Delta tonight. Yes, I applied right on the Sheraton computer. How poetic.
That's all for now.
Peace and love!
