Response to: Where Would I Be If I Stayed? by Briggs Blog

This post is in response to Dakota's latest post, which you can read here: http://briggsdblog.blogspot.com/2009/12/where-would-i-be-if-i-stayed.html .  His post was about taking a walk down memory lane, and wondering what you're life could've been like, had significant things (in his post it was moving to a new neighborhood) not happened or happened differently.

Anyway, it got me thinking about the things we do or experiences we have that we never remember.  I've been through so many weird phases.  I'm having a hard time trying to say what I mean, so bear (teehee) with me. The other day I was reading about dudes who invent their own board games (This is a good link, I promise: http://www.brikwars.com/rules/2005/foreword.htm ).  I started thinking "Man, how come I've never helped invent a board game? I don't do anything cool with my life."  But then I remembered that I totally was involved with a home-made board game project.  My friends' older sister's boyfriend created a board game (He called it "Shades of Battle" but I just called it "Kenny's Game) and me and my buddies played it a bunch.  And we helped him create better rules, and better maps to play on.  I probably put at least 40 hours of my life into playing Kenny's Game.  And yet I never ever think about it.  We go through so many experiences that shape us, but we forget about.
