A couple nights ago my favorite rocker, Julian Casablancas, made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon. He was singing along with Jimmy and Horatio Sanz to the song "I Wish It Was Christmas Today." It was pretty much my favorite TV moment this year.

During the Super Bowl Half-time show this year Bruce Springsteen slid towards a camera on his knees, and went too far, hitting his crotch into the camera. That night Conan O'Brien recreated the crotch hit, and this was another great 2009 tv moment.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that my next favorite moment on tv this year was a wedding. The wedding of Jim and Pam on the Office. There was a huge hype surrounding this fictional wedding, and I doubted the writers of the show were gonna be able to meet expectations. But what they pulled off was a nice surprise.

There were lots of other memorable moments this year, which I won't take the time to find links for. 30Rock and Community were hilarious almost every week. Unfortunately the new episodes of Scrubs are totally lame, but I'm thankful that we have 8 good seasons of Scrubs to appreciate. Anyway, Merry Christmas everybody.
