Feelin groovy

That's right, brodies. I've been feeling really good lately. I had an awesome time in South Carolina, I've made a lot of new friends, I had a great Christmas, and now I'm with Shea and Stacie in Long Beach.

At the time of writing this, I am quite literally on a boat. Get your towels ready, it's about to go down. Straight flowing on a boat on the deep blue sea. Busting five knots, wind whipping out my coat.

Emulator for Mystical Ninja? Yes plz.

For Christmas me and Kevin got a modded xbox. Kevin is my brother. You probably know that already. So anyway, I've spent a lot of time with the xbox over the last two weeks, playing emulators. And I'm gonna go play it right now.

Christmas Card and Newsletter

About two months ago me and my brother, KevHead, decided we should make a Christmas Card together, and send it out to the friends and fam. This is a new tradition, that we hope to continue every year for the rest of our lives.

For fun I'll post the picture we used for the card, and the newsletter we sent out, on here. If you never received one from us, and you think we should have sent you one, then tell me and I will make up a good excuse (bad joke).

And here's the newsletter:

With Christmas quickly approaching, we find ourselves once again immersed in the cultural tour de force that is the Holiday Season. The lights and story boards on “Christmas Street” in T-ville have gone up (you know the one… Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house…), B-list holiday movies are replacing our favorite prime-time television shows, and a conifer has mysteriously appeared in our living room.

Let’s face it- we do some pretty weird stuff at this time of year. People get a little bit crazy in their quest for the “Perfect Christmas.” It makes you wonder what really makes Christmas so memorable and important to us. Maybe we’re trying a little too hard. At least it feels that way when you’re crammed with six friends into the back of your minivan at 4:00 AM the day after Thanksgiving after sleeping over in the parking lot of Wal-Mart to get a steal of a deal on a power drill. As a couple of dudes trying to enjoy the college years, we do our best not to be introspective about things like Christmas and family traditions, but at about 2:30 in the morning you start running out of other things to talk about.

So as we reminisced of some of our favorite Christmas traditions- driving down Christmas Street, the infamous family picture on the stairs before opening presents, going to a dollar movie on Christmas Eve, dad wishing everyone Happy Hanukkah all month long, and the unofficial tradition of the Annual Christmas Day Fight- we decided the time has come in our lives when we’re ready to join in one of the goofiest Christmas traditions of all time: an annual newsletter. So there you go folks, you’ve witnessed the birth of a dynasty. Y’all come back next year, ya hear? Merry Christmas!

With love,

Kevin and Patrick Coolmin

P.S. As I looked through the pictures on my computer to upload the christmas card, I realized I have tons of cool pics. Maybe I'll post some later.

The 6 Best Christmas Movies Ever Made

Before I start the list, a bit of chit-chat: It only makes me a little sad that nobody will read this. I would've listed the 10 Best Christmas Movies, if 10 good Christmas Movies existed. Anyway, I think I'm ready to post the list now. I thought about adding comments after every movie, but I'm not going to. You've probably seen most of them already. If not, check them out.

6 - A Christmas Story.

5 - Rocky IV.

4 - Christmas Vacation.

3 - Home Alone.

2 - Elf.

1 - It's A Wonderful Life.

If anyone did read this, I'd love some comments. Tell me if you disagree, or if you have more movies to add, or if you didn't like my joke of making number 5 a Rocky movie.
